While you are playing the games .. if you come across some pictures of aircraft models that in your mind are poor and do not depict the aircraft model very well, and thus should be changed, you can post it here. And I am not requesting you to post new images, just to let me know what of the current images do not look "good enough".
Please post the name of the aircraft model, and also URL of the aircraft image from game interface (right click on image -> "copy image location" (firefox)).
..just for future reference.
(for simplicity it will still be 1 picture per 1 model, but just making sure the pics are good)
Don't post copyrighted material, people.

You're welcome to use my photo for the ATR 72-500 if you think it's any better. Appreciate it's not perfect either.

It has an airline name in it..
All the photos I submitted way back in beta testing did too. Sami removed them in photoshop. ;)

What is wrong with that? Is it publicity? No one here really cares, I prefer to see a nice picture in a real livery then an ugly plane without one
The logo right holder might care and sue the ass out of sami which leads him to start a Finnish Elite Commando Force that will invade your house, take your pet as hostage and make you pay for it.
At the end you also have to invite them to McDonalds for dinner.
True story.

Star has one of those already, for awhile actually. A four man team made of up Powi, Ile, Jps and Sundaypilot. The "Finnish Four".
Except they invade airports... not houses ;)
Talentz
Okay, the house invading, pet-hostaging and the disbursement of release fees, that I can handle... but having to eat at macdonalds* too is just... inhumane... :(
* refers to an obscure tea stall in Skirdyingurdiystarski, not the more well-known and highly litigious gentlemen with golden arches... put away those libel writs, please....
Why not try to get the manufacturer livery on the planes? I know the in game A380 and the Embrear 195STD have... Actually I think this would be the best solution.
Agreed, but other than Boeing and Airbus, I doubt they'll be easy to obtain.
I still think that there should also be long histories and/or links to that airplane's wiki page. I actually enjoy reading about the aircraft.
ATR 72-500

We can't use that. That would be a breach of copyright. :P It has to be either images in the public domain, or used with consent from the owner.
Also I second Swiftus' idea.
Once more, I am not asking for new images, just feedback on what of current images are not looking good...
TU 104B
Now I know it's going to be real hard to find an authentic picture... So I guess we keep looking for something to replace this FSX image.
Are you sure it's not a real photo?

This thing in the background is weird I admit.

It is real image, not from FSX.

In Russia planes are only virtual ;D
Picture for the Boeing 747-400ER is wrong. There are only 6 -ER flying nowadays and all belong to Qantas. The displayed picture shows a 747-400 (D?) from JAL.

LOL no, it's ANA ;D
And the picture of the 744D (https://www.airwaysim.com/game/img/aircraft/B744_Boeing747400D.jpg (https://www.airwaysim.com/game/img/aircraft/B744_Boeing747400D.jpg)) Shows Malaysia Airlines, which doesn't have the D's
Oh, you are correct! I guess being Japan at my antipodes makes everything very hazy in my brain.
Well, two birds with one stone then :)
Having just ordered a bunch of them, i'd much prefer the picture from Wiki on the Xi'an MA600 to be used here please...

Far better than seeing it sitting on the tarmac!
Thanks in advance
I think this livery is nicer than the red and blank 767-200 being used in AWS:

Except it is a 200ER and says so on the photo?
Well then different pic here:

Doesn't matter. Unless you have ownership over that picture, we can't use it! ;)
Something only half on topic....
The picture of the ATR 72 on top of the "manuals" page (https://www.airwaysim.com/content/images/350pic1.jpg (https://www.airwaysim.com/content/images/350pic1.jpg)) is not cleared of airline logos... one can see the ANZ tail ;)
In regards to the de Havilland DH.106 Comet 2, Antonov-AN10, and SAAB 90 Scandia, these are all really old aircraft. Getting images that matches the perfect criteria for some of you is fairly difficult (quality, angle, and environment). I've been trying to look around for other; better images, in addition to asking for authorisation from the owner.
For the remaining it shouldn't be a problem; newer birds.
Cheers,
