I have recently gotten back in to airwaysim and I'm sitting here on my Surface wondering of there will ever be a touch friendly app for the windows store. Is there any plans for this in the future?
Probably will be implemented around the same time that city based demand happens
There's a new site layout in (slow) development and once that is pushed out, the next step is to make a touchscreen compatible version of that layout (mainly for tablet-sized devices). And that in turn allows to create HTML5 based apps for the various devices (one is in veryvery early testing/development).
Well, I'm glad to hear your response. Thanks!
for what its worth, id like city demand and cargo to come before apps etc...
Ditto. In my eyes, at least for iOS, an app is not worth the work. The low-fi version works great in Safari, the only thing I miss is a mouseover function, but that won't be easily implemented into an app.
Amen!

Indeed it does work well. Better than I had expected before I used it for the first time the other week. Can't see much advantage of having an app for it
I hate apps. Pretty sure that's why we have browsers.
A touch friendly version of the site though would be useful though (I use an Android tablet, a Windows phone and an iPad plus XP and Win7 PCs on the site)
