Title: Penn State to Nicaragua Route
Post by: mjk5058 on September 22, 2012, 11:56:13 PM
Hey guys.  Just opened up a route flying non stop at midnight from Penn State to Nicaragua.  How much do you think I should price the tickets?  I am new at this game.  Thanks!

There's probably a Jerry Sandusky joke in here somewhere......

Since we´re not all Americans, I assume many people don´t understand that reply.
To original poster: welcome at Airway Sim. Don´t be afraid to ask questions, we will try to be of help.
Questions like yours belong into Demo World Forum. Please make yourself acquainted with the Manual and the useful FAQ´s first.
There is a fare suggested already and it´s only up to you to change that to see, how PAX react. In your case: how much would you pay for a flight of a new, unknown company leaving to Latin America at midnight? Standard ,higher or lower fare?

What is the icao of Penn State?

Any time a new airline starts up its smart to go suggested -10%.

After informing myself about that Sendusky thing as well as Penn State (KUNV University Park, a minor airport with no international demand), I´m afraid that original poster really tried to be funny, unless he can´t express himself clearly.
If so, I would ask him to stop that immediately.

stop which immediately, being funny, or being unable to express himself?

(and yes, there is a 'carry on' joke in there too....)

Even I agree that one shouldn't make jokes about child molestation like this.

It´s not the topic itself, that makes the whole thing bad taste.
It is the first post of a new member in the main forum, misleading other members being of help.
It´s boring, bigot, adolescant humour , if you LOL about that , go ahead.
If you LOL about members out of US, who couldn´t care less about your little boulevard scandals, falling into that trap, go for it.

So we German's aren't allowed to make local fun, too?

Like:
How wide is France? - Six tank hours!

Ok, making fun of France is a global thing, so I think it's ok.
