I was wondering... What is the best strategy? For example there is a route from A to B with a demand of 200 pax. I can buy the 727 with a capacity of 164 pax and fly once a day and use the plane for other routes besides that. Or I can buy one Fokker F.27 and fly this route 4 times a day with the same plane. In real life a passenger would like the benefits of flexibel departure times, I would think... Is this the same in AirwaySim or are the PAX quite stupid and take the biggest plane? Would like to hear your opinion...
PS I made this video of the FIRST ever Fokker F.27 that was built.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkJwMECsP9c&list=UUaMXb8806A7LtDaOnQ9ZIQw&index=6&feature=plcp
Rule of thumb: Fly each route at least twice a day. (if talking of routes that have demand between let's say 30 to 200 pax / day)
When demand increases it's beneficial to fly it more often too; to a certain point.
(pax allocations related to these will change to next games btw. .. it will be tuned a bit)
