Now I was a Beta Tester and I know most of the Up's and Down's but here is a brain buster. I have an Airbus (300-600 Fleet Group) that runs 3 routes (All Same Destinations) and has normal reactions toward the economy and first class groups when I change the prices and flight times. However my Business Class never seems to change in load factor when I either alter prices or change route times. When I noticed this it was when I changed my prices from 510 to 620 and so on for my business class. Ever since my airbus came out of the c-check, my load factor for my business class is between either 41-58% no higher and no lower. This is only for my Airbus. The First Class group has a similar problem, but does change from time to time. Any comments on this?
set the ticket price to the highest it will go, that way even if you do get that load factor on a ticket of 9000 or something you get a good chunk of profit haha
haha, im worried to do that. if it works, ill be taking advantage of a bug and if it doesn't work, then ill kill my C-Class Load Factor.
well the only way to see if what your saying is right is to go to extremes, either 10 dollars or 5000 dollars or something. youve reported it as a potential bug so we wont come after you with pitchforks
so i placed it at 1300 and got no seats sold from that class, so now i lowered the price from what i had, now i have it at 550. lets see what happens here.
yeah just seems like weak demand, i get it on a few routes
weak demand is not the answer, this route has over 3,000 passengers a day and now its back at a 54%. same load factor even with a lower price then i had.
which route is it? and do you have it in that high density business stuff or standard? and how many C class seats do you have ?
JFK-London, i have premium business or standard, i forgot and about 35 seats
