Title: Thanks for AWS
Post by: Jona L. on May 21, 2012, 07:57:04 PM
Hey,

I think, that many thanks have been issued to AWS for whatever things... e.g. for high enjoyment factor, a great game, etc...

But I think my "Thank you" is still different...

Today I had the first day of my Ramp Agent training at EDDL|DUS airport. Thanks to AWS I can skip 14 pages of learning, which are aircraft type designators and ICAO/IATA Airport codes. Thank you for that. Also, thanks to AWS I have already now, before work actually begins, a rough overview on how many PAX/baggage pieces I'll have to care for what type of aircraft, and do not get a shock, when I come there, and see how massive a 753 can be, or a 773 (EK).

Thanks for that subliminar training!!

cheers,
Jona L.

Good for you!

A little advice though...There's something called cargo that isn't modelled in AWS, beware!
