I think in JetAge games YIP-Willow Run airport in Detroit should be available and IDL should be the name of JFK until Dec 1963

Name changes cannot be modeled in due to some technical reason (airport would have to "close" and be "reopened" with new name, leading to CI drops for airlines based there, and one day of no operation...)
Idlewild has been asked for more often, never heard of Willow Run yet though... learning new things everyday :)
Until 1967, Detroit had two airports. Metro DTW and Willow Run-YIP. I would say YIP was to DTW in size what GSW was to DAL.
