Title: Can planes crash in AirwaySim?
Post by: SulphurTX on January 15, 2009, 11:06:33 PM
Just looking CNN with the news about the heroic water landing in the Hudson River! Great pilot! Is it possible to crash your plane in AirwaySim due to low airplane condition or human faults? The insurance is quite expensive, so I thought if the risk of crashing is low I can lower the insurance costs! Thanks!

We have insurance, because the airplane must be insured  ;)
Even though the planes can't crash now, they probably can later, and then the insurance is ready. Also, right now, you have to pay for the most expencive insurance for nothing if the plane is leased, but when you own the plane, you can cut the insurance costs to minimum.
