Title: The Jet Age #6 - commencing on March 10th (Sat)
Post by: Sami on March 05, 2012, 04:45:10 PM

The current Jet Age themed game world is coming to an end soon and the replacement scenario will follow soon according to our normal server rotation policy.

The starting time for The Jet Age #6 scenario is set to next Saturday, March 10th, at approximately 11.00 (am) UTC. Please remember that the first day of the scenario is 24 hours long and aircraft market is replenished on regular intervals so you can also join the scenario later.

So JA6 begins before JA5 ends?

So JA6 begins before JA5 ends?

Yes. As a general rule, the game replacing an ending game will begin 7-10 days before that world ends.

Instead of going straight to the super long game (1950-2020) could we have just a long game which would put together JA and DOTM and go from 1960 to 2000?

This would provide a real life test and require several aircraft replacement strategies and a lot of patience, determination and adaptation skills!

Or if that is not possible, at least a 30 year span on the game.

If people would read...

he said "JetAge#6" is going to start... no one said a word about "Long Game #1" starting. Also if you were following the forums sami announced that he'll wait with longer worlds a bit because he thinks the long term playability is not yet as good as he wants it to be.

I agree with minerva though, that at least 30yrs should be in :) that would bring us through to 1989 (aka game ends Jan 1st 1990)

cheers,
