I seem to be having a lot of problems with airwaysim, it is extremely slow. All other sites are as normal, so I know the issue is not from my end. Is anyone else having the same problem ???

I'm based in UK in case it's a country related issue.

Seems to be fixed now and fast again.
Nothing at our end.
Please do a traceroute and also ping from your computer to our server and post results.

Destination aerodrome is still very slow while trying to plan routes. All is else seems fine.

Upd: Tried it on 2 different PC - result are the same...
To increase performance on scheduling page you could try and set the number of aircraft per page to a lower number (Dashboard>Settings>Interface Settings>Number of aircraft per page at Scheduling view). Hope this helps tavarish.
I have a suspicion that a lot of the issues with the new UI are to do with computer performance, not connections as I imagine it is more resource intensive than the old one.
If you have issues you must do the ping and traceroute, as mentioned, otherwise I cannot comment. However our servers are operating fully normally.

I'm sure its connection matter in my case, 'cause sometimes I have problems even with loading this forum pages. Meanwhile all other sites I usually visit work fine...

Lines from 17 to 30 say that "Time limit exceeded" or smth like that.

trace seems somewhat normal, since the last step is at our ISP. Ping loss cannot be right, as otherwise you would not be able to access us at all if there is no ping.
Anyway, in every case the problem is somewhere between you and us. Not at your end, not at our end. While other sites you use work normally just means that your connection is fine and that you are not using any other sites located at our ISP. Due to the way the traffic is routes these issues happen from time to time.
We have looked for a possibility of setting up a mirror but it is not really possible to mirror the game (live) databases as it would become too slow. Making separate games for separate servers would work though, but that would be perhaps a step backwards in other aspects.

I've tried to ping airwaysim another couple of times today, but it always returns "time limit exceeded". At the same time I can load the site itself (sometimes normally, sometimes very slow) :o

OK, I understand. Is there any chance for this problem to disappear of itself just like it has appeared? ;D
Yes, they will always just come and go.
If it takes more than let's say 5 days, the best way is to contact your ISP about this, as they can change the routing (we cannot).
