Sorry if this is a silly question but am I right in saying it's impossible in Beginner's World to commence a new airline with a long haul aircraft/route? With the amount of money available at the start, I'm presuming that I can only being with short haul routes (on the basis I cannot afford a long haul aircraft)?
5 million is enough to lease any plane up to about 100 million purchase price. I think you could find a310s, L1011s, DC-10s for under 100 million, so you should be able to start with those.
