Hello everyone,
I've got a route running from Zurich (europe) to Singapore (Asia). Is there any difference between flying early to the east and late to the east ?
Im flying at 11.05 to singapore and 10.00 back to zurich. Is it better to lets say fly at 22.00 to singapore and 21.00 back to zurich ?
At the moment i'm only getting a 40% yield... not going up over 1 month.
Your yield issues are more likely based on frequency (or a lack of it).
Unless your Company Image is uber-high, you need to run a route at least 6x weekly before load factors go up.
I run it daily (every day) 2 times (every day). One day i even run it 3 times.
Are the flights too close together? Do they land in the middle of the night?
Any chance of a screenie of the route planning for that route?

They all fly at the same time going to fix that now. But the only question i had:
Fly east early west late is that correct (also for routes over 5000+nm)?
Yeah, flying twice at the exact same time on the same day is the reason for the very low LF.
As for time of day, it doesn't matter. Provided you're not taking off/landing between 0000 and 0500 local. So for the flight you have listed, any time from 0820 to 2355 would be fine, provided the return leg is ok too.
Yeah its fixed now, getting 70% yield now going up every day
