Title: MT 7
Post by: Maarten Otto on December 18, 2011, 11:02:20 AM
With MT 5 at an end, and MT 6 full till the last spot, I think there is enough demand for MT 7 or another shorter game. (Like Eur-Nam Challenge)
Especially now we come close to holiday season and a freezing temperature outside in Europe and N-America...

I'd just like to point out the irony of someone from Holland pointing out the cold to a company and person in Finland...  ;)

I wouldn't mind an Asia/Oceana challenge for something different. 15 years/20-25 minute game days?

Edit: And Sami, just in case you don't know, we are requesting this because it can get a bit nippy in Northern Europe and North America this time of year so we need something to keep us busy  ;)

It's 30 degrees here (86 for the celsius challenged).  ;D

Sure, rub it in  But, tomorrow I am on a plane to northern New Hampshire where it was -5c today, so my idea of a winter vacation is obviously to find somewhere colder with mountains as opposed to a white, sandy beach and warm temps!

I like the idea of "water hemisphere" versus "land hemisphere"...make it just Oceania and Europe only starting in 2010 with 35 minute game worlds and plenty of long haul aircraft avail and high fuel prices, lasting until 2020 or 2025.

That game would last about ten minutes which would be the point everyone went bankrupt. I prefer the idea of a USSR challenge. In the cold war the USSR, bases in the USSR only, Soviet a/c only, domestic and international flights allowed (to allow for flights to Cuba, China, NK etc etc).

To do it that way, youd need to redo all the demand. The only USSR airport with demand outside the USSR is Shermetyevo. Everywhere else is 100% domestic, so no flying to DPRK, Cuba, China, East Germany, etc.

Well surely airlines in Shermetyevo would be able to fly to said places? The demand from everywhere else would be nill. Or if its too hard just have domestic only.

Is there anything further on another short scenario with 20-25 minute days. Im getting really bored of DOTM #3 and MT#6 is controlled by the bigger players.
