With 350 players now in the game ... is it getting too full over there?
ie. I was thinking to set up game #2 with the same specs to run in parallel with this game #1 as there seems to be many newcomers wanting to join it.. Thoughts?
what you have to watch out for is game 1 airlines all flocking to game 2 as well :) especially if they are struggling.
Limit to 100 players? ;D
I would say that 250-300 gamers are OK. Maybe 350 is too high :)
Right now it doesn't feel crowded, but that might be because no one has really big fleets yet.
There is still a lot of big routes where the demand is way higher than available seats.
I think thats its not crowded at all, i feel like people just need to find themselves a niche and grow from that and have fun. Just like in real life per say. I love that there is competition and i feel like the game would become boring if everyone flocked over to game two and many airline would leave game 1, and no competition. Thats just my thought as a sim player :D
some major airport are still monopoly by an airlines. :)
Definitely not crowded. There are still plenty unexplored routes. Besides we need competition to make the game more interesting.
Yeh, I wonder if there's a thin line between healthy competition in an airport, or, overcrowded at an airport.
Is it not a question of how long a period passes before a veteran airline becomes too dominant for any newcomer arriving?
