Title: aircraft age question

Is there a set age where aircraft are no longer useable in the game?

Also, is there any advantages to using newer aircraft?

35y is the maximum age you can operate a plane.

Maintenance costs are factored according to the age, and they start to rise rapidly after 20-25 yrs. Newer plane models are usually more fuel efficient and have smaller maintenance costs.
