What happens?
All my flights, aircrafts, routes will be erased?
I´ll need start over again in a new game?
it's just the end. There will be a result page so you can compare how you did well with other players
OMG, it´s terrible!!
All the efforts to make fine arrangements in route, fine tunning in salaries, modeling aircrafts, etc will be vanished?
This way, I´ll think twice in buying new credits......
Well, what's the point in running the game forever? In every game, you make the best you can to make it to the leaderboards. If the game didn't end, you'd never know how well you did. Besides, one of the best things in this game is the game start, where all your decisions are important and affect you greatly. And believe me, after you have played that 3 months one game, you already wish to start a new game, where you'll propably get even better results.
Well, I understand your point of view.
I play some other on-line browser based game (like Hattrick) where the game never ends (if you manage your group/team/party well done, of course), and so I like loooong term games, when you can make looong term estrategies (in Hattrick, for example, you lasts at least 2 real time years to make a fair soccer team).
But, ok, I´ll try "re-program" myself. It´s another game approach.
sid - it's really not as bad as it seems. there will come a point when you might want to try a new approach to the airline, a new airport, personal goals, etc.
you'll enjoy how the game is run. ;)
You can then perhaps comment to this thread if you have any ideas or wishes: https://www.airwaysim.com/forum/index.php/topic,3219.0.html
Well, I know it is sorrow to leave the airline you worked so much and heartly on it, I also had problem to accept it, but I understand that point of view. Jps made a valid point, probably after 3 months you will be more than happy to start again.
You should approach like to some kind of achievement that ends at some moment and you may try to copy the pages with your fleet listings, timetables and some...dunno....maybe some finnancial statement and keep some history of your game for future reference.
I will do that when attempt to the full game.
