This may have already been discussed so dont get mad at me if it has. I couldn't find anything after searching it.
I really am quite confused as to why games do not start more often. Like what would really be so bad with having a Modern Times start say once every three weeks. I am pretty sure there is enough people to support these games, as games fill up in less than 12 hours so it seems quite logical. Also it is virtually impossible to get into a game when it has already started so it becomes a waste of credits. Bottom line is that more money would be made as well as more satisfied people by having more games.
Tell me what you think
Thanks
Here is my take on it....just an opinion!
If we had a new MT, new DOTM, and a new JA every three weeks, those in the current game worlds would get bored (making too much money, maxed out and no where else to grow, or struggling and not willing to put in the work to survive) and quit the "old" game for the new one. This would create boring game worlds for those who stick it out due to a lack of competition. Growth would be uncontrollable, profits even more insanely high, and in the end, no one would have fun outside of the first three weeks. This would lessen the draw of AWS for me, and in the end, probably drive more customers away than it would attract.
The current system works well, IMHO, but I do wish the starts of each time frame game were staggered a bit better ie. JA starts Jan 1, DOTM starts Mar 1, and MT starts May 1, then back to JA on July 1, DOTM on Sept 1, and MT again on Nov 1. For someone like me who likes to play in all 3 time frames, it would make it more enjoyable as the first few game years are normally the most time consuming, and then once it settles down a bit a new game starts.

When Sami implements the long-promised super-long gameworlds (designed to run 60+ years), then a new gameworld started every three months would produce exactly the kind of schedule that Don (and others like myself) would like, while also allowing new players to join ongoing competitive games in pretty much every era. Sami hasn't indicated how the new long game schedule will roll out, but one might expect the first will start while the current scenarios are going, with limited places for players at the start and then gradually increasing the number who can join. New long gameworld launches will then likely follow as existing scenarios close. Hopefully, some of the occasional 'challenge' scenarios will continue as well.
