Sorry, I came across this and was unaware of it.
In previous times, any new orders of a type you previously had on order were allocated delivery slots AFTER your last due aircraft. This made perfect sense.
Now (In JA5) I notice things are different. The DC8 50 series have just been released and I already had series 30 and 40 on order. I was about to order the -50 and expected to be offered slots AFTER my 30's and 40's arrived but I was told they would come nearly two years before my last -40 which surprised me.
On looking closer I realised that the slots for some of the 30's and 40's have been pushed back to much later dates - sometimes as much as two years later than I was told when I ordered them. This is nothing to do with a slowing production line, which would be the only reason I'd have expected dates to be pushed back. It seems that they've been moved to make more slots available for the newer type that was just released. I was basically due to get one aircraft per month for two years, now after the first few deliveries there is a 9 month gap and then I get them around once every three months, on average.
So now I'm in the position that I can have the newer, better aircraft TWO YEARS before the older type which it was due to replace! Surely (in the real world at least) I should be entitled to some kind of compensation or a right to change the later 40's to 50's or cancel them or something. (Yes, I know the reasons for not USUALLY being able to change types like this in the game).
So, has this changed in 1.3 or is it just something I missed before?
The whole thing is extremely buggy/obscure. I will put a bug thread online when I have time for AWS again.

I'm REALLY annoyed now as the deliveries seem to slip every time I check. I now have a DC8-41 which I ordered in 1960 - originally scheduled for delivery in October 1961 that will now arrive in November 1965 !! There are three separate periods where I have a six month gap between deliveries. This is crazy and ruining my game strategy.
Is anybody else experiencing this or is the system just picking on me (joking).
