Title: office question
Post by: estair on January 11, 2009, 03:12:18 PM
Hi Sami,

is this really lack of workers if you have 1 wokrer missing and the % is 90 (green)? Should it always be 100%?
When do you suggest to cut the salaries if the economic situation is getting bad?

if that one employee is a pilot then the plane will not fly :P and if their morale is low they will not get out of bed for ya in the morning, importand to keep the morale in green and employees to 100%

I don't think that a flight would be cancelled because you lack 1 pilot. The staff numbers are already counted high-wise, meaning they include those who come to work if the actual pilot gets sick etc.

Well again it's based on different probabilities. And think a bit on the real life situation in similar case. Even if you count that 50 pilots are needed and you have 52 hired, there always can be cases that the one guy gets stuck in traffic while driving to work and it's too late to call to the standby pilot etcetc..
