Title: Efficient flight schedule
Post by: Mr. Pete on October 05, 2011, 06:00:20 PM
Quick question.

I have 2 flights one departs 1240 and second one departs at 1325. Should I make much time differnece between them to get more LF or just 45 minutes is enoug? On the other route I have 90 minutes difference and LF is much better (on the onter hand first route has route image 28, second one with better LF has 35)...

Regards!

It depends on passenger demand on that route.  If the demand is high, flights can be closer together than on routes with low demand.  What is the demand on that route?

Demand is around 130. We have 1959 ;) I have 2 same planes - Douglas DC-6 (65 Y, 4 C).

In that case, you need to have the flights at least 1 hour appart.

and old picture of non 7 day scheduling

I always have the ~1% time between flights just like I do on the actual route.
