Until now I treated A checks as if they were regular flights, i.e. FLIGHT - TURNAROUND TIME - A CHECK - TURNAROUND TIME - FLIGHT in my schedules. Now, reading various posts on the forum I started thinking I added a lot of wasted time, i.e. there is no need of turnaround time before and after A checks.... still I wasn't able to find a precise answer, so I'm asking here.
Thanks.

I have been playing more than a year, and I have not been able to find answer to that question either.

As far as I know you don't need to add a turnaround time after the A check, so you can schedule: FLIGHT - TURNAROUND TIME - A CHECK - FLIGHT. I've been scheduling many of my planes thus, and have had no problems or warnings.
Best,

Me too. And it seems you can use the MINIMUM turn time in this case if you need to. So... FLIGHT-"MINIMUM TURN"-A-CHECK-FLIGHT
I do remember a post from Sami confirming this but I can't remember where.
I think I finally found the relevant post (https://www.airwaysim.com/forum/index.php/topic,6460.msg26845/topicseen.html#msg26845) by sami.
By the way, this means I am currently wasting 16740 minutes, that is 279 hours, that is 11 days and 15 hours! :-(

hehe - PLUS the time to do the sums!
