I thought that you can choose a configuration while the aircraft is being delivered, simply adding cost but not time to the order.
I would go check in my game, but I've reached the limit of aircraft I can order until the game time starts.
You cannot choose it after you have made the order, it is selected when you actually order it. (except for the very first plane of your firm I think, as that always comes in the config what it is as it's delivered instantly)
The day has just changed and game started so you can see the menu if you open up any used aircraft and try to buy/lease it.
Yup.... You can configure s used aircafts, it will just come a few day later thean if you didnt :)
