Title: Route Fares
Post by: elitemedia on January 10, 2009, 05:43:55 PM
Hi, im am all new to this game like many people here today i think.

I just have a question, on which basis are calculated the proposed route pricing, because they seem to me not very realistic.

KBP-CDG (300$ round trip)
KBP-FRA (300$ round trip)
KBP-DME (200$ round trip)

In 1992 i was still working in the travel industry (American Express Business Travel) and i can assure you that a economy round trip from Kiev to Paris was much more than 700$...

Regards, and congratulations for this great game.

That was just after Soviet breakup..... Very little competition, means you can charge a lot of $ 8)

they will be low when you first establish the route anyways and in a lot of the cases you will have to lower them further. in time as the load factor and route image grows you can increase ticket prices yes.

This is true.

When you first start your airline, it is advisable to decrease the fares by 7-10%.

Go to route management and your find this option available.

Good luck!
