When I check under "Global Statistics" is tells me that there are 182 B737-400 either For Sale/In Storage. However, when I look under Used Aircraft, it currently ONLY shows 2 B737-400 available for lease/purchase. Why is that? What has happened to the other 180 B737-400? If they are For Sale/In Storage, then surely they should appear in the Used Aircraft market or am I not understanding something.
They are just in storage.
Sami has it set up so only a limited number of airplanes come out at once, that way the market isn't overwhelmed (and those who miss out on the frenzy don't get any aircraft), so the release of aircraft in storage is gradual. But the more aircraft that are purchased, the faster the ones in storage should appear, albeit at a higher price.
