Btw, no flame against russian aircraft in general. It's also no general procedure to get the log from all Airbus flights off the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

Well, that speaks very well of Tupoloev's designers. How the tail remained in place is beyond me, just think of AA's A300-600  :(

Cleveland has been mvfr for the last two months and my cfi changed companies

Did you go up? 60oF and sun here in Cleveland was a welcome sight after it rained 29 of 30 days in April!

Yeah, I got up out of Lorain County KLPR.  Uncontrolled.  Someone had a prop strike right before I got there.  The CFI thinks that the pilot was on the brakes when he touched down.
