Well that sure does look like a whole lot of fun. Some impressive piloting to get it back on the ground!
(Apologies if this can only be seen in the UK)
I can just imagine Ilyushin's flaming reply.
Looks like that a/c was in a dutch roll... The right thing for Ilyushin! :-D

In Soviet Russia, plane flies you!
Btw, no flame against russian aircraft in general. It's also no general procedure to get the log from all Airbus flights off the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

Not really, since it was just a side note in another thread...
A lot more convenient to discuss about the incident in its own thread.

MORE RIGHT RUDDER!
AHHH more right rudder, its been drilled in my head from my last flying lesson, ugh crosswind approaches into windy blackpool airport :/
Well, that speaks very well of Tupoloev's designers. How the tail remained in place is beyond me, just think of AA's A300-600 :(

Yeah, I got up out of Lorain County KLPR. Uncontrolled. Someone had a prop strike right before I got there. The CFI thinks that the pilot was on the brakes when he touched down.
