Title: moving routes to a new plane
Post by: maumausi on March 07, 2011, 09:20:16 AM
hi All,

I want to move all the routes from one existing aircraft to a newly delivered aircraft, then add new routes to the now cleared old aircraft. What's the easiest and cheapest way of doing this, without paying again for the slots? It will be the same aircraft type, just a different seat layout..

cheers,

Simon

The easiest way is to use the green <-> arrow on the right side of the aircraft schedule in the Schedule (https://www.airwaysim.com/game/Routes/Schedules)- screen.

It's a pity there isn't an easy way to transfer individual routes from one plane to another of the same type!

The closest you can get to moving a route from one plane to another is to go to the bottom of the aircraft group on the scheduling page, select the aircraft registration and then across from that select "Remove route from schedule". Another box will then appear to the right of that with the flights currently associated with that aircraft. These can then be removed and attached to another aircraft. This is not the easiest means, however it does mean that you dont have to completely clear a schedule just to get at one route.
