Title: Aircraft seating
Post by: Speedbird001 on February 14, 2011, 04:12:45 PM
Just created a seat configuration for my 737-300.  10 Standard Business and the rest Economy.  Assigned it to my aircraft to find it has not added the business class seats!  And if I try to create another one, it wants all my money again.

Can someone help.  I definately had a check next to the standard business seat.

Many thanks

First of all you can view the My Aircraft details page for that plane to see if it actually has been configured to have the C class seats.

Then you should see if the routes you are flying to have any C or F class demand.

Thirdly, check that you do not overprice the C class tickets.

And fourth.. You need to wait at least one game day (or 2+ game days if the plane is in maintenance) before you can see any results on the routes with new seat config.

(and indeed check that the plane is not in maintenance still...)

I'm afraid that is the point,  It does not show my plane as having any business seats just 114 economy.  In the configurator I chose 10 standard business, but it has not put them in!

It then means that you have either not actually selected the C class seats in the chosen config, or possibly you have made the config but not actually assigned it to the aircraft.

So I guess you mis-selected it?   (perhaps you selected only the checkbox next to C seat type but did not select how many seats you want, ie. 0 seats)

(add:   And you can try to make another seating config but you do not have to assign it to the aircraft yet at that point. See Aircraft => Configure Aircraft page;  this way you can be absolutely sure that you choose the right seats for it. Since the config creation page is a bit long and needs scrolling you may overlook some of the selections if it's done hastily)
