My First Report -

Login - No Trouble
First Steps (purchase used aircraft, etc.) - No Trouble
Page test - No Trouble

Opening a Route - Minor issue, I don't think that I am being issued a new airline discount.  By the time I was opening my 4th route (on 1 a/c) I was being charged $42,000 for a week's worth of slots.  And I'm based at PHX, where there are 48 departures per hour.

So far, I accessed the game, started an airline, started a marketing campaign, leased an used aircraft and scheduled it with no problems at all.

Everything worked fine setting up an airline, but i noticed that when setting up a route, there was no default price button.  I like that feature  :'(

I reserved my airline name for a year but no credits were taken from my account.

EDIT: They've now been taken from my account (985 Credits remaining), it took a few minutes.

See how you have the Route Data Icon all the way tot the right.......It would be nice if it could be on the Route Planing Page so you can quickly look at the Demand instead of having to click on the Airport.

Everything is going fine for now, the server looks a bit slow compared with the other server, which loads quite quicker.

Weird GUI positioning.. I don't know if it's my big resolution (2560 x 1440), but I'll report it anyway.

Edit: Regarding v1.3 (didn't know where to put this..), I would also like to have the same drop-down menu for hubs such as below "scheduling", but then for "route planning". Would save a considerable amount of clicks when operating one or more hubs. :)

No problems yet encountered, configured a plane to a different no problems at all.

Just a bug I encountered many times but never felt it being important enough to report it:

When changing the insurance of Owned a/c from "liability insurance" to "90% hull loss" you need to select that 2 times in a row.
You click on "90% insurance" and click confirm. It doesn't take that over, but after you selected and clicked confirm again it is taken.

Game Time is not running in real time.....If i remember correctly this was supposed to be in 1.3

"* Game clock on the left-hand submenu now auto-updates itself. In other words the clock is running 'live' now, even if you do not reload the page. And also when the time hits 23:59 the clock system reloads automatically the info for the new day (weekday, day number, airline money..)."

Routemap looks a bit unbalanced given only two destinations. My HQ is off the map. IE8 is the browser of choice.

I cannot open routes and with all three kinds of browers I have (IE7, FF, Chrome)

here is the error message:

Error: Unable to verify the authenticity of this request (tried to call game files when not playing the game?). Please try again or contact administration if this problem persists.

Ordered 2 Cessna 208's, Didn't received a launch customer discount, if i was supposed to.  It shows no other 208's in the Global statistics so I assume I'm the first to order in this "World".  Also I changed the seating configuration on the 2nd plane after the order, and that worked fine, but I tried to cancel the that plane before changing and after changing the seat config, and after checking the box and selecting cancel, it prompts me and asks me if I am sure, and after hitting Ok it says "Error: Unable to find such order. Please try again." in a big read box.

Okay, opened airline, found base, leased aircraft.  However, on the lease aircraft confirmation page, it did not give me the option to reconfigure the plane.  Only the "Lease Period" drop-down. (No screen shot sorry).

Love the high start up money!  Leased a 747-300 to do Melbourne-Sydney :-)

I'll keep trying things and update again later.

It always does that on your first plane since it is delivered to you immediately. Right? Maybe that's what you're talking about?

You can't reconfigure the first plane as its delivered immediatly. That should be functioning as intended.

Also, you have to order a meaningful amount of the planes to get the launch customer discount. I think the magic number is around 10, so that discount goes to the first airline to place that big of an order...

Launch discount comes only for new models that have been just "released" and needs a large enough order.

Are you behind some corporate firewall or other security suite, or do you have other software that would change your IP address or HTTP user agent on different page loads? Since this error is not normal.

That's normal because it is your first aircraft, which delivers instantly.

When scrolling in a pop-up window like for route demand for an airport, after scrolling to the bottom of this window, it starts to scroll in the background window, and then pop-up window gets all crazy, and randomly shows parts of past webpages maybe, and in the picture, part of my dock (which is hidden).  I'm using Safari, and have noticed this in the normal site also.

Maybe you can have one "express game world" running 1980-2010 with these 10 minute days. I could really get used to them :)

First, never use Safari. I'm a big Apple fanboy, but even on my iPhone or iPad I deleted that stuff.

Secondly, It looks like your PC has a memory problem. I never experienced anything youdescribe and I think it must have to do something with your system.

Bankrupted and started over, worked fine.  (Had a 747-300SR making a nice little profit too!!)

I've been using it on a Windows 7 Phone, no problems.  Site views fine, drop-downs work fine.  I'll do some more mobile testing and let you know if there's any problems.

While I'm here, I have to say, I'm loving the short days!  I second the motion for a few 'turbo' games scattered amongst the 'real' games.  20 years, 10 min days, no holds barred :-)

Yep its Safari, it does the same type of thing on my iMac as it does on my MacBook Pro .... with this post is what happens on my iMac with Safari, but yes i checked it out on Firefox, (where I am forced to do a few other things when Safari doesn't come through) and it works fine.  I don't remember this problem until somewhat recently, must have came with a Safari update.  who knows..... BTW I also liked the 10 min days.

See, told you.  ;)

And I do love these 10 minute days.

Might I suggest a *Speed-server* with 15 minute game days at a fare of 3 credits per week?

It keeps the worlds a bit shorter to complete and I think many people will run their airline till the end of the server.

Perhaps a test server for this could be arranged? (I'm more than happy to pay some additional credits for it)

Really looking for ward to flyign the Comet in future games.

I was surprised how relatively fuel efficient the Comet 4 was. Comparing seats to fuel consumption the Comet 4 was much much better then the Convair 880/990s and the early 707s and DC-8s and on par with the 707-320Bs and ADVs (707-320s buring 2x as much fuel but carring about 2x as many pax). Range will require lots of tech stops in Gander as I see max range with full pax is about 2200 NM

wapp ... is the same Safari problem seen on the main server?

(may be server's caching settings too that mess it; have to test it myself on PC safari)

yeah it was, and still is with the new system running.

After intentionally creating an airline that would go bankrupt, all the bankruptcy warnings, loss of marketing, cancelling of lease extensions and loss of slots all worked fine.

hmm...It might just be my internet connection (free wifi from a cafe) but I got this error message when I tried to open the scheduling page or when opening a new route:

Quote
Error: Unable to verify the authenticity of this request (tried to call game files when not playing the game?). Please try again or contact administration if this problem persists.

Had it once as well. But I got those  few times a year on the normal servers either. Just wait a minute and try again.

At the compare aircraft screen there's the Vickers Viscount 840 included. Is this a typo, or?

Btw folks, if you haven't noticed, from there you can have a look at the An-10, Argosy and the DH Comet!

In the NAC gameworld the 810 and 840 have a range of 0 in the compare aircraft area.

question: why are my business class LFs so bad? I serve 943 business class seats on the TPE-HKG route when the demand (saturday demand) is always ~1100 business class. I've decreased prices dramatically and reconfigured my premium-only aircraft to include more Y class, and I have yet to see any LFs above 30%. on ALL my routes - even those with only one aircraft and uncontested. :P Unless it's the airline with 2x daily B742 routes that's stealing all my C demand... *glares at Ilyushin* ;D

It's like that on my side. The 747 is configured in F50 and C144 ;D

So it's not full C, stealing all of your demand.

CI and RI affect C and F load factors more than Y. Also, C and F pax are more sensetive to price and time than Y pax

:'( but I was growing like a crazy man! that sucks.. :(

and BobTheCactus, I had been operating the route since my opening, and I had a RI of 100 on the route, along with a CI of 61. prices were set to default -20% and times were all within the normal business day (granted most went into the night but the fact that ALL my routes were doing that was odd).

Cheers,
ICEcold

Noooooooooooooooo. I scheduled 20+ 747s at 4 am this morning to see how crazy I cold get. I was hoping to see it play out for a quarter or three.
