Has the idea for take overs been considered before? In other words instead of killing a player and forcing them to start over, he could be bought out giving him extra cash to set up again?
i know this may seem like surrendering to the the big guys but its more realistic than your hub being taken over with a swarm of Fokker 50's or something until you die a slow death? and at least you can carry on but with a better change of getting a foothold on your new market with more initial capital?
Very nice idea that I think most player had it in their mind. This gonna make this artificial world more reality financially and we could start international entrepreneurship.
But this might cause side effect such as market monopoly by big guys, making the small businessman nowhere to survive with their capital from their sold company.
To fully do this, we would have to introduce a stock market system. I think this should be the first improvement besides addition of regional airlines.
