Title: Oversupply?
Post by: Tujue on November 25, 2010, 10:52:34 AM
I got a warning from a player that I'm oversupplying a route, which is against the rules. I'm just filling 100% of the demand (see picture).
I want to make sure that I have understood the rules wrongly, that's why I started this topic.

Make sure the warning's not for the return route which can sometimes have significantly different demand on it.

Lowest demand on any day is 87 seats and you are allowed to offer 200% of the weekly average daily demand so you could legally offer at least 174 seats per day.

The graph shown is only 95% accurate (it says so), so the demand shown to players may vary (+/-30% according to the manual), but your 130 seat is deffinetly not considered dumping according to the rules.

Obviously he does not understand that graph, he thinks you're providing 310 seats there. But that's the whole supply, all airlines.

Thanks for reply, problem already solved, though not agree, he does know now that it isn't against the rules ;)
Also good to know for me that I'm not doing anything against the rules ;D
