Title: What about a "fantasy" world?
Post by: GEnx on October 24, 2010, 07:32:33 PM
Hi guys,

As you all know, there have been numerous aircraft designs and even prototypes which have never seen the manufacturing line in their short existence. Still, I usually wonder how the airline business would have looked like if these designs actually did make it to being produced. Models such as the Boeing 2707 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-12 immediately come to mind. Wouldn't it be cool to have a fun "fantasy" game which is based on these prototypes (along with all the "normal" models)?

Nick :)

Sami has said that he will actually put them into the "real" worlds if there is possibly enough available information to create them.  But there usually isn't.

As Sigma says I guess the problem is alot of those things didn't get past some line drawings and a publicity picture and some "guessed" stats. The MD-12 springs to mind there.
