Title: The Jet Age
Post by: suomipoju on October 22, 2010, 08:45:55 PM
Hello.

So, new Jet Age starting a week from now. That's great, due to fact that there is only one fresh server, and there is no access to it.

But how about the planes in 60's? I've only played at 80's, and 737 was a new thing in those years. Is there any jet planes that you can make a profit with? Or do you have to wait for a decade for something like that?

There are a few you can use but IMO when I played in the last one I stuck to newer props, my choice was the Hawker Siddeley HS 748.

there will be many planes that one can make a profit on.  With fuel prices so low, there was a reason the 707 was so popular.  Not to mention there was once a thriving British aerospace industry.

exactly. The BAC-111 and the Trident are both very effective when used as they were intended. Concorde/Tu-144 should be available too for those ambitious airline CEO's.

I have found the Concorde only making a profit when stacked with C and F seats. Passengers in AirwaySim won't pay a penny more for Y seats on this beautiful bird than for any other plane, you know. ;)

I'd stay clear of those. Useless planes. Go for something Russian  ::)
