Just started playing and was wondering if demand ever changes. If I started a base in a medium size city not served by any airline will the demand go up as I start serving cities? I am thinking like connecting passengers and things like that. So my route from chicago would boost demand to Lexington. Thanks for the help.
Demand does change (mainly up), according to a global air travel index. But you and your service really cannot affect it at this point yet. However that said, you can boost the demand locally on routes by offering many extra seats. For example seeing a demand for 100 pax, offering 170 pax may still give you sales of 120-130 pax is price & other stuff is right. (remember not to oversupply more than 2x demand though as that's forbidden)
