All the global country changes are according to what has happened in the reality, in the corresponding year.
eeerm but kosovo did not exist in 2005 and we have it as county ;)

Kosovo has been practically a separate area under UN reign after 1999. All these UN administered special regions have been also marked under UN rule in the game worlds.
