Title: When to start a new marketing?

Hi,

could someone please explain if it makes sense to start a marketing for a specific route already before the route willbe flown, i.e. route is planned but aircraft delivery is in 2 weeks.
What would be the best time to start a marketing...?

No, Don't use any route marketing full stop. It's effect on RI compared to just flying the route with no route marketing is negligible and so money down the drain.
