If you take out an operational lease to buy new aircraft, do you own the aircraft at the end of the operational lease?
The lease only covers the length of time you lease the aircraft for from the broker (or manufacturer if it's a new aircraft in your case).
Once the lease is up, then the lease is either extended for another year (auto setting) or it is returned to the leasing company/used market. You can also buy out the lease if you wish as well.
