Hello,
With a new game coming up sometime soon, its back to my most hatred part; Naming the airline!
I can sit for hour upon hour trying to think of a name and get one only to find a real airline was called that once...
I plan on operating a regional airline based in Melbourne in a future game so I'm open for ideas as to an airline name.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

A bit slow at our end due to summertime but some news / plans in next few days.
Take your time. The new game is not going to start in near future.
2 weeks ago, sami said 'next few days'...
Btw, what about 'Metroliners'? Or 'Metrolink', 'Victorian Metrolink'?
Last time I was short on inspiration I created OneMoreAirline

Hahaha. You were based in Newark in that game, weren't you? ;D
I like to go with something classy (silly names drive me crazy when I see them) which might also denote where the airline is from. If I do a an LCC thats about the only time I'll use the word Express. Thats just me though. Keep it classy. Whoever suggested "Crown Colony", thats a classy sounding name! Or is that the name of a liquor...?
Crown Royal is a Canadian whiskey. ;) don't worry about that though. maybe the name for a LCC should be a single word? possibly "now" or something along those lines would seem cool? slogan would be easy - "fly now."
Cheers,
ICEcold
When I have a LCC I usually tack on Go or Fly as a prefix (or suffix). For my root word I use something that hints to the location
Eg, GoCaribbean FlyOregon MountainFLY
I don't think you want my advice on airline naming.
