Title: Lots of major airlines bankrupt?
Post by: Quitzau on June 13, 2010, 10:19:28 AM
During the last real life, 24 hours, we have seen companies like Flying Dragon, PASAIR and Asiadream going bankrupt. They all had a fleet with more than 200 aircrafts.

I cannot seem to understand, why all these major airlines just suddently goes bankrupt. Anyone knows?

They have all closed down voluntary by the user/CEO.

Example:
"The CEO of Asiadream has today made a decision to close down the airline"

Can only speculate why, but probably since Beginners World 7 is "soon" ending and they feel they have achieved what they can in the current game.

Yes, that is quite normal when game worlds are coming to an end. Not in beginner worlds to that extent as they are smaller but in longer worlds it is clearly seen.

Hi all, noob here.

Since BW7 is ending, has there been any announcement about when the next Beginner's World game will start?  I just finished my demo game... well, just finished going bankrupt  :'(  and would like to get the hang of the features not present in the demo game before diving into the deep end of one of the other games.

I think they quit before they lose 1 cr for another playing week. They might keep it for the next game.
