Title: Not on an iPad...
Post by: Maarten Otto on May 24, 2010, 06:41:13 PM
Hi Sami,

Would it be possible to replace flash with HTML 5 coding? By doing so people with an iPhone or iPad can view all aspect of the game like the stats on the dashbord page.

I know, it's an Apple issue but I think a few hundred people might enjoy the game even more when HTML5 is implemented.

BTW first post from iPad  :)

Or ask Apple to let you add Flash to their hardware  ;)

or ask apple to upgrade the iPad to do something other than just browse. ;) I have respect for Apple (minus macs because i hate them IMO) and the iPod line, but the iPad..... ::) seems like they'll do anything now to get more people. :P

I think apple is trying to do something backwards here: NOT support flash to get everyone else to support what they want.

If you want AWS on a mobile device, check out which mobile device you buy. There are several android-tablets at least announced if not already released and there you got AWS running nicely. (At least on my HTC Desire.)

I'd be interested to hear Sami's view on this.

Okay I just installed Frash (no typo) on my iPad and all flash content of AWS shows up in mobile safari.

Works good, but I will need some time to see if it's stable enough. First views are good on this one though.

My Windows laptop does AWS fine and it costed 200 bucks less than an iPad. I win.  :P

I was just trying to feel part of something ;)

But anyway, I agree with what you're on about! I can't seem to load the graphs, pie charts etc on my phone either! Real annoying!

My Blackberry can load the maps (after 10 mins ;D) but not the pie charts etc. It's also weird how I can make and go to schedule aircraft. but when I click confirm to load the route onto the airplane's schedule, it says it can't find any route available for the aircraft type. ??? i only operate one type of aircraft to boot. :P

I get this error when trying to put this route on a plane in the wrong city.

I simply typed 'cloud browser' in the search engine of apple store and it comes up on top of the list. Free installation.

edit: I've heard this is only distributed in US apple store.
