Can we base in any EU country or is it restricted to Iceland.... Iceland is in the EEC (European Economic Community) which every EU member is in as well, but they are part of the EFTA instead of the EU. They are also in the Schengen Area which allows free travel between any Country part of the Schengen Area (Sami you should know it seeing as you are in Finland and Finland is part of the Schengen Area. :P)

If I'm not wrong Iceland is in the same case as Norway and Switzerland. They have free sky on all other contry the European economic area.

I cant see how Schengen would affect this sim. Surely it would only effect our fantasy pax and decide if the need to carry a passport. Here in the UK we are EU but not Schengen but there are still all the freedom of the sky rules.
Perhaps this has to do with basing at multiple airports (and v1.2): if you start in Iceland (KEF, for example) are you limited to only other airports in Iceland or can you base at an airport in the EU?

that's what I meant. ;)
Oh and just to make it clear; these are NOT modeled yet, will be included in future games. (Same for Norway). This first version of bases includes only the "clear" cases, ie. EU and domestic bases.
(and schengen etc. are not relative to this, it's how the countries have agreed the freedoms of air)
