Can anyone lend a hand with these related questions. Say you want to purchase an aircraft and for your given engines and MTOW there is a graph trading range against passengers. Say you get 5000 miles with 300 passengers.
(1) Does this mean that if you create a configuration with fewer passengers that you will find, when the aircraft arrives, that you actually get greater range?
(2) Can you get "live feedback" on the range as you change your configuration, or do you simply have to remember that if you want, say, 5250miles then you must configure with say 280 passengers.
(3) If you change your configuration 5 years after you have bought the aircraft, will the range update accordingly.

1) Or you can just keep that config and put it to that route still. It will automatically limit to max possible seats for that route.
