First, I would like to know, do the "crashes'' you insure your airline against ever happen? If they do, what is the primary factor of crashes? Flight Hours? Age of Plane?

Note that if you lease planes you are forced to take the most expensive insurane, but if you own the planes you can choose the cheap ones.

Just thought they could have actually some effect on CI, for example.
Believe me, passengers are not choosing airline based on insurance. They care about getting there safely, not about money that airline gets if plane crash ;D
