Title: 'C' Checks
Post by: SirGrant on February 12, 2010, 10:17:01 AM
Hi,

Just a quick question.  What can happen if you run a aircraft with an expired 'C' Check?

Never did it before, just curious.

Cheers.  :)

The government will fine you.. But it's very cheap. Interesting point to note is you lose a large amount of company image. Probably worth 50 times the fine.

Money i don't care about,  i guess the hard hitting impact would be the CI.

Thanks for the replies, now time to do a 'C' Check ..  ;D

it would cause the aviation administration to "ground" your a/c and then a fine. Of course, it affects the CI... And the aviation administration will start to fine you for even expired A and B checks!
