Title: Next game world starts at 08/02/2010

The next full game world of AirwaySim will begin on February 8th (Monday). The expected launch time is approximately around 12.00 UTC.

The scenario will be called "Jet Age" (long-time users may remember previous world with same title) and will cover about 15 years. The start year is between 1965-1970 (to be decided still). The players can use the gas-guzzling first generation jets or old piston powered props and gradually move to new equipment such as the 737.

Game world settings are the same as in all current running game worlds as this starting world still represents the current game engine version (1.11). Other specifications like starting cash and fuel prices are set to allow easy or medium skill level game play.

There is again the standard 24h first day before the world clock starts moving.

If possible please make airport opening and closing accurate please.

DFW opened in 1/1/74. All traffic should be at DAL, until then

Oh - UTC is -1 hour, not +1 hour  ;D so it is 10:35 now  ;D

wow.. I was planning on going to sleep at 6am.. but now I might as well wait 30min more... lol

my school day ends at 10pm EST on Tuesdays. What game are we waiting for? Jet Age? ???

edit: Woops didn't read the top part. "the scenario will be called The Jet Age." ;D :-[
