Title: Runway Lengths
Post by: auerbacs on January 31, 2010, 01:07:57 AM
Do airports' runways change lengths over time? I'm playing out of SAZM in Argentina. There's a lot of demand to fly to the United States but only the Extended Range 767 can take off on such a short runway and fly so far. Any chance that the runway gets extended, or am I just going to build up a big fleet of 767s?

Thanks

No, presently airport runway lengths don't change.

Even when the feature is implemented, it'll likely only go from shorter up to the current runway length that exists today which is what you see in-game now.

If runway length is a problem there's always the options of tech-stops that may allow a shorter-range aircraft to handle the load without requiring so much runway.

or you can make your plane lighter by flying the plane with a very posh setting.
