Title: Transported passengers cyclicality
Post by: pfmboidi on January 03, 2010, 12:27:20 AM
What is the reason for the montly (or so) cyclicality in the number of transported passengers?
I have noticed it both in my figures and those of other players...

Not sure if it accounts for all of it, but a large part of it is B checks.  One week a month you loose 1/7th of your routes.

Yeap, it's B-Checks.

The last week of every month you've got your planes going into B-Check.

I've seen the exact same pattern.

It could also be C-checks.  I've noticed, now that I'm upwards of 80 aircraft, that there is some variability in my pax numbers because some of my aircraft are out of service upwards of two weeks for their annual checkup.
