Yep you all read that correctly! I am FINALLY having success!!! Yes, yes... I can hear you all out there saying, "Sheesh Masonic, its about time..." yeah yeah... I'm celebrating nevertheless..so at least for now, the record (which I KNOW I own) of over 20 bankruptcies, at least for now, is halted.. WIND Airlines is doing ok and that makes me happy! So if I don't SCREW this one up.. maybe JUST MAYBE.. I might FINALLY get to go through a game and if I am lucky (gasp!) finish one!!!! :-)
Of course with my luck I just jinxed myself but oh well haha.. have a great day everyone! I hope ALL are doing well!
well not to p*** on your parade, but you have quite a number of DC-9-30s which will be costly when C check time comes and the F28-1000s will be nothing but trouble (too small, too old and another fleet type). You should hope the MD-80s are profitable enough to offset the DC-9s and F28s
No other planes I could have used to expand... so.. thanks for the heads up but really, there was nothing else I could do. :)

Sometimes not expanding is better than to expand. I had many competitors which I drove almost crazy so they started expanding rapidly and then... well they are gone now :)
There's nothing wrong with the "take what you can get" strategy necessarily. You just need to recognize the shortfalls of the fleet that you have now and have a definitive plan to replace them in the future; and do so in a way that minimizes future commonality issues.

Yes you can..its called patience.
Congratulations, Masonic. :) It is a fine thing to finally go through a whole game without bankrupt. I finally successfully did so in Jet Age 3. In fact, I exceeded my personal goal of obtaining 75% market share at my hub. I made it to 85%. That was fun! Hope you have fun too. 8)
With a name like WIND Airlines and a owl for a logo, I am glad that you bankrupt. Intact I am some what disappointed to see you succeed.

Not sure if that's sarcasm or something, but since it's less than immediatelly apparent ... This is a warning - your message is not in line with the code of conduct of the forum and I expect you NOT to post in such tone anymore.

and its not an owl by the way its a Badger as in Bucky the Badger, the mascot for Wisconsin..
so Sami, does this current success for me end my reign as king of bankruptcy?? hehe
Masonic, one of these days, I will be allowed to look at your airline and see the one main reason you are/were failing.
This game is very tough to fail at, imho.
Thanks Swiftus, you have been such a huge supporter and help. I appreciate everything you've done for me, all the advice, etc.. thanks again! You rock!!
