Title: Ticket Prices
Post by: Riger on December 19, 2009, 03:16:46 PM
Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there is any difference in (system standard) ticket price for a given route based on aircraft type?

Thanks

Richard

Nope.. you can even test it by yourself if you have two different types of aircraft.

Go pick a random route then get on the "open a new route" page. Put in the time, day, first type of aircraft. Then change the aircraft type.

Could it then result from different dates when the a/c were introduced? I am pretty sure to have had this on several occasions in the past, e.g. Saab2000 vs. A319 etc.

I tried it:

When I open a new flight with one a/c and then change the a/c type, nothing happens.

When I open a new flight with one a/c and then open a new flight with another a/c nothing happens.

Still, when I compare some routes with my alliance partners, we have differences of up to 6% on some routes, although the flights commenced in the same year.

Any idea?

The prices change over time. In a game week, they might change by 4-10 ish.
