Title: B, C and D checks
Post by: Tivec on November 08, 2009, 01:32:03 PM
Hello,

So far, I feel I'm having at least a little clue at what I'm doing :D However, there is one thing that makes me a little confused. When I have a B, C or D check, this will obviously cancel out the routes during this period. Is there a way to assign an aircraft to cover for these missed flights, or is it an automatic cancellation due scheduling (or similar)?

Cheers for a great game. You will have a long time player in me, I'm sure :)

There is no need to substitute another plane for the route for C/D checks. Unless you want to.. You can move the schedules between same type of aircraft in scheduling page.

In the long run there's no real benefit (ie. benefit vs. time needed) of this in my mind.

Okay, I'll keep that in mind. As for B-checks, they are carried out once per month if I understood it right. Is there a set week (last week of the month?) or all in relation to the last B-check?

Last week of month always.

So in theory, if I do the B check for an aircraft on leasing it, and it's week three, it would do the B check again the week after?

Not necessarily, it checks also when the previous B was made and doesn't do it if it was made very recently. Can't remember the date thresholds for that.
