I actually like the present time ratio. ;)
Anything faster and I will get no sleep at home or work done at the office.
Anything slower and I'll have to play 2 or more games simultaneously.
Best Regards
Richard
Current time ratio is fine.
I want 24 minutes = game day. It would be nice and easy to understand, if 2 game months == 1 real day.
i prefer it as it is
I like 25 minutes, 30 minutes makes the game a bit too drawn out I know its only an extra 5 minutes per game day but its too long in my opinion ;)
I like this 30 minutes rate lot more than previous 24 min/day.
Most important difference is, that important events don't happen during your working day or during night.
You should have enough time to program schedules before plane is delivered. 8 hours simply isn't enough, 10,5 hours is a lot better.
If rate is faster, then also this pre-programming period should be longer.
Like it as it is: 30 mins
Everyone doesn't want to play this game 24/7, and if it is too much of an disadvantage not logging in more than once everyone second day I wouldn't play. There are simply to many games that work this way (need to log in all the time to stay competetive) and I've lost interest in all of them. That's why I prefer it this way (at least 30 min for a game day).
Make hi-speed games for those who want quicker games and wants to spend days in front of the computer staying up-to-date.
There are already advantages of people spending more time; more quickly adjusting to competition, scouting better routes, setting up better schedules etc. etc. So, please don't make it a quantity before quality game, there are already enough advantages for those who doesn't do anything except this.
On top of this, I'd like to have more time ahead of a delivery of an aircraft to start setting up it's routes, at least the amount of time a slot can be held (is it 2 months?) to make it easier for people that can't log in that often.
How about keeping those 30 mins (or more) per game day and use it for some serious computing regarding real passenger destinations and routings? That would definately be serious quality ahead of quantity! (Know it's on the to-do-list, can't wait! :) )
I agree with Tommy,s comments, I think there are other areas of the game that would benefit from changes rather than gameplay speed, works fine as it is.
One of my particular preferences would be in the 'Open new route' menu. Is there any way you can add a feature that allows you to filter destination by pax demand. For instance say I want to list only routes from my base to Europe that have a pax demand of over 300 per day. As far as I know at the moment you cant do this.
cheers
Andy
I really like the current time - i prefer when they're faster, but I really don't mind - it is easier for many people when it is 30 minutes/day. No faster than 24 minutes/day - but no slower than 30 minutes/day.
24 minutes would be cool.
the faster the better!! 24 min/day is a great idea!! :D

I think that is way to fast...
I like it as it is, would have it shorter tho, not longer :)
i think little speeder could de nice at 20/25 mns
I wonder who voted for real time. I just can't imagine that I order aircraft and will have to wait 3 real months to get it.
Keep it the way it is ;D
I also like it the way it is. When you are actively playing the game it sometimes is to short, but for example when sleeping the time seems to fly ;)
Either make it 1min = 1hr or keep it as it is!!
I refer 1st variation (1min=1hr)
I suggest we have various types of games to cater for various speeds.
Why not have games running at different speeds? Some games at 30min for those who like the current fast pace, and some running slower for those of us who don't have the time to login regularly and get annoyed when your airline has gone into the red after coming back from a weekend trip.
What about a SPEED server where a game day is done in 15 minutes....
I like the current length of time too. I like it better than the 24 minute one. I wouldn't mind it slowing down a little more either, but not much. Right now, if I want to replace planes going into a C or D check, when I go to sleep and get up, I have a lot of catching up to do.
Hello, I think I probably leave whole AWS if next games not be faster than 30min. So booring in my opinion.
I thought the idea of a 24 min day meaning it aligns with the real day for two weeks was great. But I prefer the 30 min per day to give me time to do stuff before bed, then get up and make final adjustments if necessarry.
So my vote = leave as is, 30 min = 1 day
its cheaper with a faster game day! hehe global economic crisis ;)
i wouldn't go for slower than now
i will illustrate my arguement with some data ;D
20 year game
20 mins=20 credits to play including joining fee
30 mins=27 credits to play including joining fee
40 mins=34 credits to play including joining fee
:o
my point is why spend more credits on a longer game length where you could get cheaper on a 30 minute or 20/24 minute game. longer games take over six months, the 40 mins takes 203 days and if you add say 85-2020 scenario we have a huge long game which most people will find tiresome and boring.
If that's your argument then why not make it run 1 day = 10 seconds? :P ;D
20 minutes is too fast... 25 was good, as is 30, but anything lower than 25 is too speedy imo.

I agree.
stop picking holes! its a good arguement! okay we'll draw a line at 10secs to the hour! sound gd compromise sami? :P
20min would be great.
10 secs to the hour yep thats a good argument lol
im liking 20 or 24
but as previously suggested, a variety would be cool
